According to Olathe Parks and Recreation – “Lone Elm Park was a rendezvous point for travelers along the Santa Fe, Oregon, and California Trails.”
The City of Olathe wanted to provide modern amenities at the historic site with the creation of a playground near new ball fields. ABcreative delivered a stunning addition to the park in the way of 2 playground areas that provides hours of play and adventure for the children of the community.
Fun fact: during the construction of the ball fields, project archaeologists discovered several historical artifacts that dated back to pioneer travelers.
