The $7 million renovation of Aspen Seemann Memorial Park is off to a promising start with the unveiling of a one-of-a-kind playground designed to bring people together. Beck Engineering provided leadership for the project, while ABcreative collaborated to develop this truly distinctive playground. The Spirit Lake School District, the local Kiwanis chapter, other community organizations, and numerous generous individuals united to bring the first phase of this project to life.
This innovative playground is designed to ignite the imagination and foster adventure for visitors of all ages. The play area features a combination of Berliner Play Equipment’s Shout structure and Tower 4, both of which are exclusive elements that distinguish this site within the United States. Children and families are drawn into a world of excitement, starting with a thrilling slide from the top of Tower 4 that winds down into a dynamic play surface. The playground also boasts an undulating landscape filled with mounds, tunnels, and a captivating 'river' of blue, all designed to enhance tactile experiences. With a mix of poured-in-place rubber and ForeverLawn Playground Grass, the surface ensures both safety and endless fun. This playground promises a space where creativity, teamwork, and adventure come to life.
