When ICON Shelter Systems Inc. opened its doors for business, it set out to accomplish two objectives; the first was to offer standard shelters in a way that no other shelter company was doing; and second was to bring products to the market that no other shelter company was producing.

ICON’s offering of standard shelters in one foot increments was heretofore unheard of in the shelter industry – four foot increments forced design professionals to settle for shelters too large or too small, or incur additional charges for “custom” shelter fabrication.

ICON’s second objective was realized in 2005 with the introduction of its Craftsman Series shelters, in 2006 with the first pedestrian bridge produced, and in 2007 with the introduction of clock towers.
